The Kenwood RFU-6100 is a wireless solution that features a transmitter and receiver that operate using radio frequency technology. This transmitter and receiver save you from the hassle of running speaker wire to your surround sound speakers. Simply hook-up the transmitter to your audio receiver, then wire your rear speakers to the wireless receiver.

This future ready wireless surround speaker system uses separate RF transmitter and receiver units and allows you to use higher-quality surround speakers than are typically found in conventional wireless surround speaker systems. The separate radio frequency receiver unit has a built-in high-power digital amplifier for the surround speakers (up to 50 watts x 2 channels), which dramatically improves sound quality over conventional wireless systems, and it can be used up to 100 feet away from the transmitter. Active circuitry reduces noise interference, and 4 selectable radio frequency transmission channels eliminate interference from other radio frequency devices. The signal is transmitted using the 900MHz frequency, rather than the more crowded 2.4 or 5.8GHz frequencies. The auto power on/off function means you never have to turn the RFU-6100 off or on manually.

Connections: transmitter has positive and negative left and right speaker wire inputs, receiver has has positive and negative left and right speaker wire spring-clip outputs.
