This system includes audio support to help you effectively watch your children with more than just video. The camera has a built-in microphone that lets you hear everything that’s happening in your monitoring location. This way you will be able to tell the difference between conversations and cries for help. Another safety characteristic of the PHOENIX1 is the audible alarm feature. You simply set the monitor to alert you with an audible beep when it detects sound above an adjustable preset level. This way you can decide whether you want to be alerted by a wail or a whisper. If two cameras are connected and sound is detected, the handheld monitor will automatically display live video feed from where the sound is active. The alarm can be disabled entirely, if desired.
