This device took me a few minutes for a basic setup, following the directions, but some of the features eluded me for weeks! Even with the long learning curve, I love this bedside clock! The number one reason for that satisfaction is the feature I thought I wouldn't care about: the time cast onto the ceiling! This turned out to be the most useful feature. It can be rotated 180 degrees in case you want the clock on a stand at the foot of the bed, which I do. And I use the USB power point every night to charge my Kindle.

The size is nice, too, especially since you need to turn the clock to get some AM stations. Relatively thin with a nice tilt to the display, the clock is easy to read from across the bedroom. You can completely turn off the time display, or you can have it cycle through time, date and room temperature, which is also a nice touch. I use the temperature reading to tell me if I want to turn on the electric blanket before I come to bed or t.

One of the neatest things about the alarm configuration is that you can change the volume on the radio alarm for the two different alarm settings. I can have it blare Mon-Fri, and gently rouse me on the weekend, at a different time, and from a different station.

The radio is good as it is, but one suggestion for improvement would be to turn off the alarm-set LED with the front display. If I had the radio on a bedside table, I kw it would need to be covered, which kind of defeats the purpose!

Ather would be to allow a change in the length of time the radio runs from the alarm. 30 minutes, then off, is too short for those of us who need more incentive to wake
