RS Tri-bot is one of the latest in the line of award-winning robots from WowWee. He's a fast talking and fast moving companion, who's fully loaded with a variety of different interactive play modes. With an engaging personality and animated face, the Tri-bot robot will keep you entertained for hours with jokes, stories, and comments.
The Tri-bot's movements are controlled by the included easy-to-use tilt-sensitive remote. Simply tilt the remote control to move the Tri-bot forward, backward, left and right. This toy robot's unique three wheeled base makes for fast movement and agility. He can turn on a dime, in any direction with his omni-directional movement. If you don't feel like controlling him, you can set the Tri-bot to Free Roam Mode. Tri-bot will begin driving around and will avoid obstacles as he goes. When you want him to come back, you can press the Home button on the remote and he will automatically travel back to you, even if you're out of his sight!
Another cool feature is Guard Mode. Tri-bot will scan the area immediately in front and behind him. If he detects any motion or a change in the environment, he will sound an alarm! This is great for guarding doorways and hallways. Tri-bot is also equipped with a timer alarm. You can set a time between 1-12 minutes that you want to alarm to go off. When it does, watch the Tri-bot rove around, and you'll have to catch him to turn the alarm off!
The Tri-bot has three fun built-in games that you can play with him at any time. In Pattern game, Tri-bot will drive out a pattern on the ground and then ask you to repeat the pattern by controlling him using the direction pad on the remote controller. In the Maze game, Tri-bot will drive out the shape of the maze on the ground. He will then ask you to drive him in the same pattern, using the remote controller. You have a fixed amount of time to run through the maze correctly. He makes comments as he goes to tell you whether or not you are moving in the correct direction. Drive into a maze “wall” and he will “bump” off them harmlessly. In the Minefield game, Tri-bot will drive out the shape of the minefield on the ground. He will then ask you to drive him using the remote controller. You must follow the same pattern to avoid the mines! If you are facing a mine, Tri-bot will beep. If the mine is directly in front of him, he will beep more quickly. Turn away from the mine to find a clear path -- if he beeps slowly, or does not beep at all, you can move forward. If you hit a mine, Tri-bot will blow his top!
