The Robosapien V2 walks like a human with fluid motions in 4 different walk modes. Using his IR vision and touch sensors built into his hands and feet, he is able to avoid obstacles as he walks. He will even avoid falling off table edges! If you prefer, you can set him to bulldozer mode and he will try to push his way through anything. Not only can he walk, he can also replicate a full range of human motions! With hips that swivel and a waist that bends and twists, he can dance, wave, sit, lie down, perform martial arts moves, and bowl a ball in a smooth, human-like manner.

The V2 is fully controllable with the included remote controller. Direct his movements with the analog sticks and his actions with the buttons. You can also use the remote's laser targeting feature. Simply point the beam at a spot on the floor and the Robosapien will walk towards it. Switch to free roam mode to watch the Robosapien explore his environment independently. The Robosapien V2 can be programmed to perform many combinations of movements and actions. Just enter the moves into the program using commands on the controller, and the V2 will remember them in order. The V2's color vision system enables him to interact with objects and people. In addition, his stereo sound detection system allows him to hear and react to sounds around him. His built-in tilt sensors keep him from falling over, and his grip sensors tell him whether he's been successful at picking up an object.
