Beyond expectations. 0 people found this helpfulI was looking for an upgrade to a plug and play record player and stumbled across Fluance. The turntable ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for from a turntable. The great reviews swung it for me, on this site, and also Amazon, so I took the plunge. I also purchased the preamp from Fluance, so everything arrived safely, well packaged, even a pair of white gloves for handling the beautiful plinth and acrylic platter. The setup was quite easy to do, there are some YouTube videos on setting up. When all was done, it was time to get this gorgeous table spinning and playing some vinyl. All I can say is that this table sounds amazing as well as looking stunning. After a couple of weeks I had a problem with the table and I had to reach out to Fluance, they were very quick to respond to my email, the problem was an rca cable that I had purchased from elsewhere. Can’t find any faults whatsoever with this table or the preamp. I will be looking at their speakers in the future. Gorgeous table, great service.

Worth every penny! Great customer service! 0 people found this helpfulWhen it first arrive, I saw puncture holes in the box. As soon as I opened it, my dust cover kid was cracked. In NO way do I feel this is Fluance’s fault. When I reached out to them, the very next day they were sending me a new one. This record player is amazing! Make sure you do your reviews in which cartridge you want and why. Worth every penny!

Excellent Turntable 4 people found this helpfulI bought the Fluance RT85 to replace my 45 year old belt drive AC motor 6300 Marantz a year ago. It has exceded my expectations. I've been playing vinyl since I was a kid in the 60's Alvin and the chipmunks lol. 78's and 45's on a old mono turntable kit that my father built (steel needle). He also built the Logan kit amp. Played Black Sabath Master of reality cranked and finally fried it They moved on to a Noresco Quad amp with a Dual Turntable in the 70's. The party was at my parents house! Listened to all kinds of others but I settled down with the Fluance and real happy with the Ortofon Blue. My vintage and new vinyl sound great. New highs and lows that sound clearer than ever before. I recently bought the Fluance silicon mat and glad I did. I recommend it to stop the slipping when doing a pre-play light damp dusting. Worth mentioning give the mat a damp wipe before installing on the acrylic platter to discharge static after removing from the packaging. Definately a happy camper and say bite the bullet and go for it if you're in the market for an Audiophile grade turntable without breaking the bank.
