I used this receiver for a display at my church it would work 90% of the time without any hickup but then a year later it would flicker easy and I noticed it getting really hot. Now two years later it no longer wants to pair to the receiver and I'm stuck with some broken tech. Might be on the budget side of these things but you get what you pay for.

When it works it works great. Easily gets stepped on by WiFi and overheats.

Rebecca was EXTREMELY patient in helping resolve the pairing issue with my Nyrius Pro

I have purchased this on September 23, 2020
TOTAL CDN$ $465.74 (the extended rang) time to time the unit was disconnecting. We used for livestream contacted to a Canon VIXIA HF G50. It stop working 3 weeks ago. I give only 1 star because this was expensive item and lasted only 1 year. -
This device works well in terms of video and sound which is very ok but in terms of transmission range is so bad. It won't work after 20ft and any small obstacle courses signal loses which i didn't expect because they said it can transmit through walls but it can't

Having used the Nyrius Aries Pro+ Wireless HDMI for a bit over a month, we're looking for another solution. It overheats which causes it to quit. It connected quickly and easily. Picture quality is very good. Lag is barely there - perfectly watchable. Range in line of sight is good. Putting a person in a chair between the tx and rx 12 ft. away can cause interference which shows up as occassional momentary dropouts. Overall, my big disappointment is that this gets hot and quits, otherwise, I'd love it.

The adapter is too thick to fit in the ps4 hdmi slot, same issue for some PCs and other devices, need to purchase a separate extension hdmi. I have tried using it through one apartment wall at 10ft distance and it fails to stay connected, overall a let down for me but the zero latency is true and spot on, just need a clear line of sight for a good connection.

So I bought three unit and label them, so it doesn't mix up for pairing or during moving around while streaming. Only one paired (Link A) while Link B and C Transmitter get connected to something else (solid light on) and the receiver keeps blinking for ever not connecting or receiving signal
the only one the is connected has good signal, I think this might be a frequency issue -
Tried to connect PC to HDTV using 1080P. Worked for a while - about a week, then the transmitter started repeating connection and disconnection to the PC. PC kept trying to set the display whenever the transmitter discnnoected and re-connected - almost every minutes, and it makes both PC and TV non-usable. Tried source and display (notebook and Monitor), and same problem. When I downgraded the signal (1080P to 720P), it worked for a while (about an hour) without the issue, then it repeated the problem again for 720P signal. For the price, it is big disappointment. Unfortunately, I installed the product weeks after I received it from AMAZON, and the free return window is closed when the problem happened. AMAZON just told me to deal with the manufacturer directly, and I emailed the manufacturer. Hope they accept the return...

Such a disappointment and waste of money. I have botched someone's wedding livestream because if this. It tests fine in a small room but any more than 5 meters it cuts out. It's a complete waste of money and false advertised. We've tested it multiple times and same thing very poor signal and constantly drops connection over 5 meters.

Our 2nd Nyrius and the pro version is simply outstanding!

Could not get this to sync. Wasted an afternoon with this. Bummed, I thought since this was Amazon recommended and expensive it would be awesome...not the case. Returning

Display lost sync every 5 to 10 minutes. This was at a distance of about 10 feet from laptop to display.I don't use it.

I have a unit, and when it works it works quite well. The problem is that it operates among the same frequencies as your 5GHz home router. Because of potential frequency conflicts, it doesn't always find a clear frequency to connect the recevier and transmitter, so its operation is intermittent. At my house, I use 2 separate routers and two 5GHz frequencies which don't change. I know which Nyrius frequencies are clear and will work, but the DFS in Nyrius is not always able to select the clear frequency (Channel 1 in my case). My recommendation to NYRIUS before I would buy another unit: Please install an option to manually select the NYRIUS operating channel. Channel 1 always works for me at my house, and the only way to get the NYRIUS units to handshake on Channel 1, is for me to manually disconnect the receiver unit and plug it in closeby to the transmitter unit, let them handshake to channel 1, then unplug the receiver and quickly plug it in at the TV's location 2 rooms away. It then comes on and displays Channel 1, and continues to operate perfectly. For some reason, the DFS can't make the units handshake from a distance because of the proximity of the 2 internet routers in the house. Manual selection of the NYRIUS operating channel would solve my problem.

Compact elegant looking (transmitter like large USB dongle, receiver like Apple TV size). Video is seamless no lag. Connects to itself instantly after power on. Audio also good but I ran through receiver first with Nyrius transmitter off the Output. Used for two years no problems.

This is the second nyrius product I have had and the Aries pro + which overheated and almost caused a fire in my home. This transmitter also cuts out for some reason even within 15 feet of eachother. I’m still trying to figure out which one is best. When it does work it’s great but it’s not reliable for me personally sadly. Great idea and price if it was reliable.

It kind of works. The response time is great, very little lag in the camera. The range, however, is very poor. I bought the 165 ft model (NPCS650) and it constantly loses connection even when it is only 15-20 feet away with a direct line of sight. Would be great if it worked as-designed, but it's not appropriate for anything less than close range - and at that point why not just plug it in?

Overall, I'm giving 4.5 stars which rounds up to five. I have my transmitter downstairs and my receiver upstairs, about 100 feet apart. Setup was easy. The product works almost perfectly. The only frustration - and I could see it being a big one for some people - is the time to connect every time I start my upstairs TV, can be up to a minute. Once it connects though, it's a miracle device. Picture quality is amazing.
In sum, the cords I was able to remove because of this - oh what a joy it's been. -
Great product!

I have never thought I would find something so reliable and accurate based on the marketed results and also the simplicity of the product which gives you zero delay and smooth, mine was advertised for 40ft but it works well on 100ft without problems
