fantastic value 0 people found this helpfulI bought the reference xl8 bookshelf speakers a year or so ago and I’ve been very pleased with them. But they were paired with a Polk CS centre that had noticeably different tonality - very frustrating, especially on dialogue. This upgrade has improved things dramatically. Are these the best speakers? No, of course not. But they just might be the best for the money. Build quality is a1. They sound clear and tight but they need a sub. Once properly balanced, my system is now perfect for my small room and listening to quality music is a pleasure again.
