Does the Job - Seems Safe 0 people found this helpfulI have a Fluance turntable with the fluance acylic platter. Although the platter has sort of a rough frosting to the top, records would still sometimes slip, especially when just lightly running a brush over the vinyl before and after listening. This thing put a stop to any kind of slipping.Honestly the return on sound quality for this and the platter are small, but there. You can hear the difference if you take them away and go back to just the aluminum platter with the rubber on top.Most importantly, I went with the Fluance brand, even though it costed more, mostly because I was worried about the weight and the strain on the turntable motor. I figured Fluance is trusted enough that they made sure their motor can take their own brand and still be effective when listening.

Works great. Looks great. 0 people found this helpfulThis is one solid & surprisingly heavy unit. It keeps the vinyl planted on the platter, eliminating slip and reducing some of the warp. Any it looks great whether it’s in use on a spinning LP, or just sitting on the turntable when it’s off.
