Decent enough sound but misleading marketing, chea 0 people found this helpfulDecent enough sound but misleading marketing, cheap and flimsy-looking 'adapters' and my order was dispatched via Canada Post while Fluance sent me an email with a tracking number and link to the UPS website. First up - the legend 'for iPod and iPad' is very prominent . This is true ONLY as long as you have a 4th Gen Apple product. So if you bought yourself an iPod 5 Touch 11 whole months ago (11 months is an eternity in Consumer Electronics, Fluance) then you will be plugging your device into the 'AUX' slot in the back as your Lightning adapter will not work. Nor will the 'AUX' input charge your device or let you use the remote control for anything but power and volume. I'm no lawyer but it seems to me that if you make a sweeping statement along the lines of 'FOR iPod and iPad' then you are stating that ANY iPod or iPad will work on this device so shouldn't you make damn sure you cover them all? Again, Fluance - 11 whole months since the Lightning adapter was introduced to the market and I believe Apple sold 9 million iPhone 5's in the first weekend after introducing it last week. Although these were US sales, none of them will work on your unit unless plugged into the 'AUX' slot. Nor will any of the iPods sold in Canada almost a year ago. Perhaps your legend should read 'FOR IPOD AND IPAD IF THEY ARE A YEAR OLD AT LAST'? 'ADAPTERS" - and this is what swung the sale for me in Fluance's favour, silly me. They say they have SIX adapters in the box so I figured just about any Apple device will work on this. In reality, these are but flimsy plastic BASES that your 4th Gen iPod or iPad will REST on while plugged into that 30-pin thingy, gadget, dinglehopper, whatchermaycallit - hang on, isn't that what an ADAPTER is? And then there's the shipping SNAFU. I got a link to the UPS website a with tracking number but my order had been shipped through Canada Post. One-line apology from Customer Services. When I asked about using the unit with a 5th Gen iPod, again a one-liner asking me to plug into the 'AUX' at the back. Lousy, overall.

I was a bit skeptical as I had never heard the sound before and I totally based my purchase on review by Steve Guttenberg; the sound quality is amazing and definitely worth it. Pretty good sound for the size of the speakers. I am glad I purchased these speakers.

I have it in my living room. Volume goes to 40 and that is loud. I find myself turning down from the 20 level volume it turns on with. I love having volume and purity of sound available when I want it. This sounds great at all volumes. Extremely Happy with this and will spend rest of my life selling this company to others. Thank You.
