I needed a device to wirelessly send an HD video signal from my PC to my ceiling-mounted projector. I have no built-in WiDi on my PC, and so was doing research on the various devices available to meet my needs. While there are some cheaper devices in the market, these all seemed to have poor reviews with a lot of discontent amongst purchasers and reports of variable consistency with respect to quality and reliability of function.
I discovered the Nyrius line of products via online browsing, and read a bunch of excellent reviews. I decided to give the ARIES Prime a shot, (and it didn't hurt that Nyrius was offering a $50 rebate off the purchase price ;). So far I've been using the product for a week, and I have been totally thrilled with my experience. Setup was super-quick and easy, and I am now wirelessly sending 1080p video to my projector with no noted latency! And it has been working perfectly for my 1080p 3D video too!! Sweet!!! My home theater is now truly complete.
