This thing saved my butt. I needed my bedroom TV on an opposite wall where there was no
coax cable for my cable box. Running cable to that side of the room would've been a huge
pain. I decided to spend the money on this thing and couldn't be happier. Since installing
it I've never had to deal with it. Not once. The only reason I know it's there is that it
takes a few extra seconds before I'm watching TV after turning everything on. It "wakes"
and reconnects to itself every time you power on your tv and set top box. Flawless audio
and video from across the room (12'). One thing to note that I was not aware of; the
transmitter requires USB power. Fortunately there was a USB port on the back of my cable
box that I could use to power the transmitter. I guess this is because the device is
mostly used for laptops where USB is almost guaranteed to be available.
