I had two HDMI cables that were run behind a fireplace and through walls during a

renovation project. After a year, one of the heads broke and after two years the other

head snapped off when moving some furniture. The thought of having to bust up the walls

again to run another cable was painfull. After doing research on the internet, I came

accross the Nyrius product. It does exactly what it says it will do. It provides the same

quality picture and sound to my TV from my HD Xfinity cable box without the need for an

HDMI cable to connect the two devices. I plugged the transmitter in the cable box which is

powered by the cable box itself. I then plugged the square receiver into an electrical

outlet behind the TV to give it power and ran a small HDMI cable from the receiver to the

TV. I thought I was goiong to have to go though a bunch of technical steps to get

connection, but the sysytem worked like plug and play instantaneously. Anyone who wants to

mount a TV somewhere and does not want to go through the mess of running HDM cables, this

is for you. Caveat, you do need an electrical outlet where your TV is going to mounted and

the receiver will be powered though.
