I'd been using a long HDMI cable for a long time to view my laptop output on my HD TV.

Since I didn't always need this function, I needed to connect and disconnect the cable

each time I did need it. Then I found this product which has made all the fussing

unnecessary. A lot more pricey than the cable, but I bit the bullet and now I'm real glad

to have the convenience. It connects automatically whenever I switch the TV input to HDMI2
