This product worked as advertised. Specifications indicated it would work up to 30 feet and it did indeed. The directions were not very good until I saw in small print that the installation manual was on line. That helped a lot. There is some variability with the device in regards to sound. It seems that if the cable box is turned on and the hard wired TV is not, then turning on the wireless connected TV works fine with both sound and picture. If the hard wired TV is on and then one turns on the wireless connected TV then the sound for some reason does not connect. However, simply unplugging the HDMI cable to the wireless TV and plugging it back in allows the sound to reconnect. Not a big deal. Other than a few quirks with installation (like the USB line has to be connected to the USB input on the cable box then to the sending unit in addition to the HDMI cable from the cable box to the sending unit) we have been very happy with the unit. No need for drilling through walls to bring in a cable line. And you get all the benefits of your cable box like HBO which we would not get if we had a basic cable line running just basic cable.
