I really needed to go from my cable box to TV in a spot where it wasn't going to be possible to put the cable box. I had a super slim samsung that's bug like a picture on the wall. The outlet and cable box are recessed in well. But now, local cable go requires cable box so what to do. I ordered this and like it says, out of box, plugged into back of cable box and receiver into Tv and within moments, had full HD on my TV. It works as described. Only issue I'd how to power the receiver. It said USB powered but it only comes with a bigbAC adapter so I'm looking into how to fix that, still, great picture on TV. Only 4 stars cause of power to receiver. Should have been clearer in all descriptions.
