To make it work I needed to go into the Intel HD graphics control center (found in your
tray) and go to graphics properties and change some settings. I was about to return this
item and I figured it out.
(Windows 8 is an abomination but enough stating the obvious. I use the Windows 7 shell to
make it appear like Windows 7. A curse be on Microsoft for releasing this turd of an OS).
