My primary reason for choosing this particular model is that it has the higher quality outputs. I had no trouble using the toslink hookup to my receiver. The sound is
clear. The range is on par with other bluetooth devices I have used in the past. I have no complaints. It also pairs immediately when my phone is around, which is very
convenient. I do have to turn off bluetooth at home if I want the sound to come from the phone itself as it is so good at pairing automatically. :-)
