I wanted to use the Nyrius Aries Prime for a very specific reason: to connect it to my Nikon D800 and transmit to a 32" Samsung monitor. It worked perfectly. Although it did require the purchase of two additional low-cost items:
1. One Mini HDMI male to HDMI female cable. (I went with MINI-HDMI (Type C) Male Adapter to HDMI Female with Ethernet (8 inch), which isJackery Bar External Battery Charger - Portable Charger and Power Bank for iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, 6 Plus, 5, iPad Air, iPad Pro, Samsung Galaxy S7, S6, S5 & Other Smart Devices - 6,000 mAh (Black) found on amazon.com.) Another possibility is the Afunta Mini HDMI male to HDMI female, also found on amazon.com.
2. A power pact. (I got the Jackery Bar, also found on amazon.com). Note that the Nyrius comes with a power cable that enables you to plug into the Jackery Bar.
Bottom line is that it works. I created a short video to demonstrate. Please forgive the hesitation in my voice (I'm a first timer); just know that it works. -Verified Store
