Packaging and fit/finish are impressive. Initially a bit muddy, as one would expect, but as it broke in, I kept tweaking settings (ex levels, crossover points, etc.) and things have settled down now. I've offloaded the lions share of the base handling duties to this thing. The rest of my speakers (some old Bose 901s in front, a Boston center, and a Fluance bipolar surrounds) can concentrate on reproducing the mids and highs, because this thing is producing amazing noises below 160 Hz.I'm not typically a fan of huge bass, but the Fluance sub's crisp and clear sound has me adding a little more...and a little bit more.All the details seem right too - connector hardware, feel of the balance and crossover knobs, etc. - Verified Store
