Not impressed!! We recently mounted our TV above our fireplace and needed a wireless transmitter to send our satellite signal to our TV as we had no in-wall data connections available. We purchased a similar 'wired' transmitter a few years ago to do the same thing for our bedroom TV and had great luck with it. It's worth noting that other transmitter was made by a different manufacturer. Seeing as almost all transmitters are wireless these days we were unable to purchase the same one as before. So after reading hundreds of reviews and comparing several products we decided on this one....bad idea! It worked fine for a few weeks and suddenly crapped out. It would constantly lose signal the picture would go black or get extremely pixelated and there was a delay between sound and audio. I could see this being an issue if the TV and transmitter were outside of the recommended range; however both the transmitter and the TV were in the same room within 3' of one another with direct line of site. Conveniently for the manufacturer the unit went bad 1 day after the return window closed so I am unable to return it for a refund. I'm less than thrilled with this experience and this product and I will never purchase a Nyrius product again. I'd advise you to do the same! For what it's worth the other transmitter we own that works great is made by IO Gear....go buy that one instead!!!!! - Verified Store
