I work a job where being on time is extremely important and I purchased this alarm clock specifically because it is advertised to sound the alarm on time even in the midst of a power outage. You can imagine my disappointment then when during the first outage since purchase (less than two weeks of use) the clock lost it's settings. This clock is useless to me and will be going in the trash just as soon as I can replace it with another brand. (The USB port does work so I'm able to use my smartphone as a backup until I choose a replacement.) - Verified Store
