Was using the built in preamp prior to purchasing this and by all accounts I thought that it was really good! I was thinking about purchasing an external amplifier but wasn’t sure because of the space it would take up as my set up looks awesome as it is, but when I saw this preamp and the size it was, not to mention the cost, I thought I’ll give it a go! I wasn’t disappointed! I’m by no means an audiophile as I just got back into vinyl since my teens about 2 years ago but this is well worth the money and to say it’s discreet is an understatement!
