I ordered on a Sunday got them by Friday. Excellent packaging. I am downsizing my listening room and wanted to replace my Energy Veritas V6.3's with something much smaller with front facing vents so they could be located closer to the back wall. I set them up for continuous play in my garage for 24 hours before bringing them into my listening room where they are plugged into a pair of 200 W Marantz mono blocks with a Marantz SR 7010 AVR as preamp. After another 20 hours or so they really came to life. They are very bright speakers with crystal clear highs, a warm midrange, and tight bass. The frequency response is quite flat and the imaging was remarkable for speakers with such a small size and price. The bass response was tight but fell off according to specs at around 60 Hz but with 2 small subwoofers crossing over at 80 Hz the combination was very impressive in either stereo or 11.2 surround. I would have kept them but I was auditioning 2 other other sets of bookshelf speakers and chose a set for $300 more. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone on a tight budget putting together a home sound system for a medium size room. Spend most of your money on a good receiver and start building your speaker system with these Fluance Signature Series Bookshelf/Surround speakers and a subwoofer.
