I bought the RT81 turntable and powers speakers earlier, like both products. That made me want to expand my system, but I wanted to get high quality, room filling (okay, a small room, but still...) speakers that could do justice for my music.I couldn't make up my mind without actually hearing speakers, and that's not possible where I live. Additionally, cost was significantly higher from other sources. I called Fluance to discuss my desire. The rep actually asked about the type of music, my treble/bass preference and the room. She actually talked me out of ordering the sub woofer or the center channel speakers. She was sure the Sig Series would do all I asked. If the grandkids wanted the booming theater sound for movies, I can call her back. With prime shipping, no other manufacturer could compete with the price either. She was right, they are great for my room. But if the grandkids want big booms, THEY can call!
