Using it twice a day for Invisalign trays still required me to use a toothbrush toward the end of the 7 day wear period, but once I got to telework and used it three times a day, the trays had no build up at all by the end of the week.Despite this item requiring the use of water, it is not water tight. So try not to get the bottom part wet.. I dropped mine while it was filled and water got on the casing which led to it malfunctioning. It would just stay on once plugged in and wouldn't turn off and got really hot.I took it apart and found corrosion on some of the soldering and a few rusted transistors. I expect the corrosion was happening all along due to some water getting in while rinsing it and my dropping it broke one of the soldered links that was corroded.But, it does a good enough job that I ordered another one. I'll probably glue the edges together of the next one just as a precaution.
