Signature HiFi 2-Way Bookshelf Surround Sound Speakers

I just replaced similar sized bookshelf speakers with these as my computer speakers. These probably cost 5 times what I paid for the ones I replaced and the difference is startling. For music I know really well, I can hear instruments and background voices that I didn't even know were there now. The stereo imaging is drastically sharper to the point where you really need to be sitting precisely in the middle for speech to be coming directly in front of you (assuming that is where your monitor is located). I will say that these get better as you put a little power into them - (the bass starts to come out). For the really low volume listening levels I generally prefer, I may add a small sub woofer to 1. bring out the bass from music at really low volumes and 2. for the even lower frequency sounds in movies that you simply aren't going to get from any bookshelf speaker.
