I've had this clock for nearly a year.. I starting out liking the clock. It was bright and I loved having the time shining on the ceiling while I'm sleeping. But then, I started noticing a lot of issues. (1) The clock runs fast! Over the course of the past six months or so, the clock has speed up 5 minutes. I should not have to reset the clock every month or two to keep the right time. I have a clock in my office that's older than me (I'm 53 as of the writing of this review) and it STILL keeps good time! Yet a brand new clock speeds up an average of 1 minute a month. May seem trivial, but it's not. (2) The clock is WAY TO BRIGHT at night. It has a dimming feature, but in this day and age it should be automatic. Yet, even on the low light setting, the blue light is harsh when you look at the clock in the middle of the night. I'll never buy a clock with blue lettering again. I think red letters are much bette. (3) Too many multi-function buttons. If the radio is playing you can't dim the screen. The volume up and down buttons are the same as the time forward and back buttons. The buttons change based on the mode you're in. I need to keep the manual handy just to remember how to use the thing. It shouldn't be that complicated! I'm giving this clock away and buying a new one. Yes, first world problems, but...I want a clock radio that keeps time, doesn't make me wide awake if I glance at it in the middle of the night and isn't hard to use, especially when tired.
