I thought I was done scanning slides many years ago using a high-dollar Konika slide scanner. Then I found more slides. The old scanner had been long out of date with software and I wasn't ready to spend $300 again. After researching several models on Amazon and elsewhere, I decided on this Magnasonic. I'm glad I did. The footprint is about 1/6th of the old one, the picture quality is better, and it is MUCH easier to use and is also MUCH faster! No complaints here, just praise.
