I bought this set a couple years ago for my home theater, and it is fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the sound quality or the build quality. Although I bought it for my home theater, I spent many hours just listening to music in stereo mode because the speakers sounded so good. I use it with a simple Denon AVR-x1300w receiver, and a 12" subwoofer. Taking the magnetic covers off the tall front speakers is almost breathtaking. The speakers are quite large and heavy, so make sure you have space for them.
