These are my first set of bookshelf speakers, so I really can’t compare them with competitors. However they are a night and day difference from my viso sound bar and a huge up grade from my Bose blue tooth speaker. While it’s not a 5.1 or 7.1 system, it’s enough for me! I live in a townhouse so the minimalist and portable design suits my current lifestyle.
The speakers themselves have plenty of base, and some reviews say you don’t need the added sub. While that is true, the sub really takes movie watching to a new level. (I tried with and without 10 sub hooked up) Honesty it took me a year and half to pull the trigger on these. I am glad I did and would not hesitate to do it again.
I am sure if you are a true audiophile you could nit pick and find something wrong. For I would say the above average person who can appreciate quality speakers wether it’s in home or vehicle, I would say these are a success. I don’t see my self upgrading anytime soon.
