There is no actual button to turn to adjust the volume. There are simply 10 digital levels. And the lowest level is still too loud. Makes you jump when the radio turns on in the morning. Great wake up. That's the reason for knocking off one start. Otherwise it's a nice clock radio.Oh, and if you are picky, they went cheap on the ceiling displayed LEDs. The vertical bars making up the numbers do not touch the horizontal ones fully. So any vertical bars in a digit seem shorter than they should be. So for example a 1 or a 4 are shorter than a 2, 3, 5 .... It doesn't prevent anyone from sleeping but it looks odd.
