It was moderate hard to get it set and then the first morning I had it set to wake me to radio and it certainly did. It says it has 2 alarms so one of you can get up early and the partner can set the second alarm for later. There is no way anyone could sleep through the first alarm so since they are already awake the second alarm is useless. Would not recommend this product
