I really love these speakers, and for the price I'm convinced they can't be beat. The detail in the high range is outstanding, and the bass is super clean and accurate. If you want booming bass, you'll need to add a subwoofer, but bookshelf speakers have come a long way over the years in this regard, so if you've been limping along with old worn out speakers (like I was before I bought these), you'll probably be as thrilled as I am. Build quality and materials seem very solid and they look great. I've got them in my living room, which isn't huge, but has high vaulted ceilings, and they fill the room with sound. I recommend following Fluance's recommendation and going with minimum 16 ga speaker wire for best results.
