I have several totes full of 8mm and Super 8 movie film from 3 generations of family. I haven't had time to start on digitizing the films yet (that's a good winter project) but I took a5" reel of film at random and processed it to test the equipment, I found set up easy and I like that I could adjust the brightness of the film. I also the quality of the result pretty good when you consider that the film I used was almost 80 years old.The unit can't correct lousy photography or correct the loss of quality from old celluloid reel film but by and large I fine the result better than watching the reel on a flickering old projector!
