After our beloved Sony projector clock broke and was unable to be revived (the insides are a mess of complexity and over-engineering), we have searched high and low for replacement options. As you know, searching for these on Amazon will result in you being flooded by multitudes of Chinese clocks that are basically identical. The review hunting will drive you mad since most seem OK, but there are enough real 1-star reviews to make you wary.We went down that rabbit hole for months and finally found this one.All we wanted was a nice red projection on the ceiling and a dimmable front display. This has both! We were able to see a clear, red clock displayed on the ceiling (can focus and flip the orientation) and we were able to completely dim the front clock display.It looks like there's also a temperature sensor that can be changed from C to F, but all we cared about were the 2 options listed above.So far so good!
