Worked as expected 0 people found this helpfulWorked as expected. In fact it worked well enough that we bought a second one to remote another TV in a different room. Initially concerned about the low number of reviews, but went ahead and took the risk. You should too. r

Nice solution for those that need it. 0 people found this helpfulThis is light years ahead of my old composite 5ghz video sender .... it supported 2 receivers & the audio latency was acceptable, but at the end of the day, the video quality sucked. And if anything got in the path (people, dogs, chairs) , the signal dropped out.The WS55 takes a little longer to start up (2-4 seconds or so, if the HDMI input signal was off ... during this period the blue Nyrius splash screen is up ), but the digital audio & video are rock solid & the audio latency doesn't irritate. Synchronization between the 2 receivers is good & standing in front of a receiver doesn't cause drop outs (my RXs & TX are about 15 feet apart). It also runs much cooler than my old units.So.... is it perfect? No. Is it better than pulling wire .... Yes. And the price doesn't break the bank like some options out there. And with all of the A/V goodies out there, it is very easy to integrate into an older A/V receiver that may not support audio thru the HDMI ports. I picked up an Amazon Basics audio extractor, an HDMI switch (my receiver only has 2 HDMI inputs) and now my Sat Box, Fire Stick, and Blu Ray player are all happy....
