I was using a soundfreaq soundkick in my office at work, and the audio from that was very good for a bluetooth speaker. However, after setting up my new home theater with fluance speakers and being impressed, I decided to upgrade my office with the fi30. I'm glad I did. The sound is outstanding for a bluetooth unit. What I was looking for with these speakers was som 0 people found this helpfulWhat I was looking for with these speakers was something reasonably priced that required minimal fuss to operate with my phone, an iphone 6. My use case is either in the kitchen/living room while cooking or cleaning, and then moving it out to an open area outdoors (but under a roof) when needed.+Quality of the sound is very good. The bluetooth connection holds up fine although obviously you're not going to get through heavy walls like we have. It will simply stop playing and then continue seamlessly when you are back in range.+Simple. You link it to your phone, and then I just turn bluetooth on and off on the phone when I want to use it (it's my only bluetooth device other than the car.+the look. it Looks clean and clutter free, and you can have the phone or other device with you instead of having it around the speaker.+/-A bit heavier than you'd expect, considering it doesn't have batteries. But I don't really mind as it's not a problem for me, it just discourages (for better and worse) smaller or otherwise burdened people from tossing it around the house the way they - The sound it makes for disconnecting and connecting. It sounds like an alarm, it's kind of unnecessary, and there's no way to turn it off that I can find. I would have liked a simple indicator light option on its own, so I don't startle people when I waAnd that's pretty much it. Otherwise I couldn't be happier with the device, and it's exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully this one doesn't do the same as we love it - great sound, easy to use.
