First Record Player 0 people found this helpfulRecord player is really good. First time setting it up, YouTube videos helped. I was a little upset at customer service. No one answering phones, took over 5 days for a return email. But overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Budget Conscious Pre-Amp That Sounds Great 0 people found this helpfulGreat, budget conscious pre-amp. Bought it to go along with my RT85 as I figured they would pair well. Sounds great and am trying to save up for some Fluance floor speakers eventually. Happy to support a Canadian company making great audio gear!

Just ok 0 people found this helpfulIts an ok budget pre amp it sounds good for most modern carts but has zero adjustability. So if you are going to experamint with some vintage pickoring ot shure carts a unit eith some adjustability would be better suited.

Good quality , but there are better choices in preamps. 0 people found this helpfulI bought the Fluence best turntable to pair with a Fosi X2 preamp and Bt30D amp. I had a hum could not get rid of , so thought if I got the Fluence amp it might get rid of the hum. It made no change. Long story , short, hum came from a bad ground. I pounded a 3ft , 1 inch diameter , thick wall ,copper pipe into the ground . I ran a solid core wire and attached it to the cabinet screw on the back of the Fosi BT30D amplifier. Hum entirely gone. The Fluence preamp is a solid piece of equipment, seems well built. The Fosi X2 however, performed better and is cheaper. The Fosi also has a gain control , you can kick it up from driving through 39 to 45 db gain over to your amplifier. The Fosi also has a good ground post.
