    Overall Performance

We needed a way to get the output of a Series III TiVo to a small TV in our guest bedroom. The NY-GS3200 worked perfectly the first time we turned it on. We bought an inexpensive second remote for the TiVo to keep in the guest bedroom. Now, thanks to the Nyrius unit, our guests have full access to everything on the Tivo in the main room. We thought it worked so well that we bought a second NY-GS3200 to also send the same TiVo output to a small TV in my wife's sewing room. So far we have not encountered any interference problems with microwave ovens, cordless house phones, or WiFi. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  2. The Nyrius NY-G53200 does what it's supposed to do. To say I 0 people found this helpful

The Nyrius NY-G53200 does what it's supposed to do. To say I was delightfully surprised is putting it mildly. Now if my cable controller would work just as well. I have to hold that control at the weirdest angles to get a sneeze out of it. But that's Time Warner. Back to the Nyrius NY-GS3200. It was a whiz to install. The saucer antennas don't have to be raised at all as distance between the transmitter and receiver is only 15 feet between the living room and bedroom. Now if the cable control signal could also be transmitted back to the DVR - that would be heaven! - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  3. I am so pleased the the entire experience from selection to 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

I am so pleased the the entire experience from selection to shipping to receiving to set- up and the enjoyment. This is a purchase that I AGONIZED over due to concern of returning something I really wanted to work. I looked at lower cost A/V wireless units as well as more expensive. Finally after several days I decided on the 3200 because of the 5.8GHz, and the ability to expand the system. After setting up (which was a breeze) and enjoying the 3200, I purchased a second receiver. Actually, I purchased a tv for the kitchen, then the additional receiver because my dream had come true. I now have 2 tv's that I do not have to rent cable boxes to operate. My aim is to eliminate some cable costs. I was so happy with the purchases, that I shipped a set with 2 receivers to my brother based on my recommendation he decided to purchase. GREAT PRODUCT! If they come up with a unit where you can watch a different program than what's showing on the host tv, I will be FIRST in line. Please beware that if the host tv is not on the non-host tv is free to broadcast any channel you have available. I do not play the host tv until I go to bed, so this purchase works for me where 3 tv's share 1 cable box. I have enjoyed this purchase for a month and am looking for years of enjoyment. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  4. My wife uses a small flat screen TV at her vanity that is no 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

My wife uses a small flat screen TV at her vanity that is now over three years old. The picture had deteriorated so much that we maxxed out all of the controls to obtain anything close to a satisfactory image. The signal to the TV came from an older wireless transmitter, which never provided a reliable channel due to frequent interruptions by "snow," blinking, or, recently, total blackouts for a second or two. Eventually, my wife stopped watching due to these annoyances. We thought we'd need a new TV or wireless transmitter & receiver set, or both. On the chance that the TV picture quality suffered because of the wireless system, I purchased the Nyrius NY-GS3200, with the notion that we could upgrade the TV later if necessary. Happily, once the Nyrius was set up, we were able to turn the TV controls back to their normal settings, so we avoided that hassle. In our case, the transmitter and receiver are only about 20 feet apart, but the signal passes through two walls and seldom breaks up. We are completely satisfied, but we can't comment about performance if the transmitter-receiver distance is greater. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  5. I was tired of paying rent on each and every thing in life a 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

I was tired of paying rent on each and every thing in life and we have two DTV boxes in two rooms already. I wanted to sometimes watch DTV programs in my home office when the family was watching something else on normal TV and was not willing to shell out more for yet another rental DTV box just for that room. These work great. Simple R/W/Y connection from the DTV box in the living room and the same on the receiving end. The setup is about 50 feet away and the signal is good with no dropouts/static/hazing at all. The receiver is touchy and you need to play with moving it around a little away from the TV or it will cause interference. The DTV remote from the main box works with this as there is a passthrough IR device that you set in front of the main DTV box. Don't expect HD....Our DTV service box is still SD as well as the programming. The picture is good/steady and very watchable but it is SD quality and you would notice the dfference going from Antenna Digital programming to this...For me it's perfect to watch occasionally in another room. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -
