I finally got tired of resetting the time and alarm every time there was a power outage or similar issue. So I bought this one from Amazon and I love it. It makes me feel like a Jedi when I move my hand over the top and the lights come on automatically. I love the fact that the alarm is gentle and not like the end of the world is imminent like my old one. It has dual alarms and lots of customization features that let you set it to your tastes. It's not perfect but it's pretty close. The battery backup ensures you won't miss that alarm in the morning. It sets the time automatically when you first plug it in.
