Perfect--Adds volume and clarity 0 people found this helpfulThis preamp works well with my Fluance RT 85 turntable (great turntable by the way). I have a phono input built into an Onkyo amp but the sound from the phono connection was soft and lame even at higher volumes. Everything else with the amp was good so I didn't want to return it (the connection worked but it seemed underpowered). I talked to Fluance and they suggested that I try this preamp to see if that solved the problem (excellent customer service btw). I connected this to the CD input (any input other than phono would work) and the sound now is perfect--good volume and clarity. One thing to pass along--I did not need a ground from the pre-amp to the amplifier (no hum without that ground). The turntable is grounded to the preamp.

Does what it is suppose to do with out issues 0 people found this helpfulVery basic, no controls at all. Minimalist setup but doing what it's suppose to do just perfectly. I just wanted a pre-amp and let my receiver do the rest regardless. All good, fast delivery, no issues at all.

Turbocharger 0 people found this helpfulIt has turbocharhed my turntable. Sound is more punchy. Transients are sharper. Hi-fidelity. No lousy sound here. However I dont know how i feel regardibg my setup looks because my turntable is brown and this is black colour.
