Sound good. 0 people found this helpfulI have had a few hours of listening time after the recommended 10hour break in. I like what I hear so far. They replaced Elac Unifi 2.0 with my 5.1 AVR. Running Fluance as my left and right front. Center imagining is surprising. My Elac have been moved to a listening room, and the Fluance are doing a good job for movies. Yes a sub is going to help with low end. Crossing at 80hz.

Great Value, Amazing sound for bookshelf speakers 0 people found this helpfulI purchased these after reading about them on an audiophile message board. I never know what to believe when it comes to reviews, so I look for real recommendations, and sometimes I find them. Fluance isn't one of those giant companies merely relying on a name to sell products. These are well made and perform wonderfully for bookshelf speakers. I purchased these directly from Fluance. I could not find a decent True Wireless Stereo system that would let me play all audio sources from my computer (Sonos for example would not work for me). I am using two amplified bluetooth boards made by Tinysine (50W per channel). These can be set up for TWS quite easily. I installed Equalizer APO on my Windows10 computer so I could boost the frequencies below 60hz. The EQ software eliminated the need for a subwoofer in my situation. I get plenty of bass from these speakers using the EQ - really quite surprising. Bluetooth can be a real PITA in Windows, but I have just about got it working perfectly.
