  1. We purchased this to send a signal from our DVR downstairs a 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

We purchased this to send a signal from our DVR downstairs across our house to an upstairs tv. Works great! You must make sure the antennas are both pointed directly at each other and if someone walks between the antennas it will interfere with the signal. The ir remote extender works well too. You must have the extender placed in front of the device you want to control. Total distance is about 60 feet through 2 or 3 walls. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

We are full-time RVers and purchased this device to allow us to watch TV outside our RV without having to install another satellite receiver. It works great! Video quality is good and interference in minimal or non-existent. It has no problem transmitting video anywhere outside the RV, so we can put the outside TV anywhere in needs to be depending upon the size and configuration of the site we are parked on. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

    Overall Performance

The unit works for exactly what it was intended to do. We are able to pickup a cable signal from a new TV unit that is across two rooms that could not have cable installed in without some damage to the house. This is one of several that was tried and this unit worked the first time installed perfectly as we intended. It may work upward of 400 feet however we only needed it to both transmit and receive about 25 feet, through two open doors and one closely. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  4. Used to film football games. Transmitted the video feed from 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

Used to film football games. Transmitted the video feed from over 150 feet with no problems. Easy to set up! We film high school football games and we used to have to input the video from the sideline feed by hand. Our set up included a camera at the end zone that was connected to a computer and a camera on the side line in the broadcast booth that recorded on tape. We would then take the tape and inter-cut it with the end zone film and match up play to play to have a nice film to review the game. With this transmitter we were able to send the signal from the side line camera straight into the computer. That way both shots were recorded at the same time and they were already in sync. We made sure to get this since it was 5.8 and everyone knows cell phones run on 2.4. Since we have about 1000 people show up for our games, interference was not an issue. Make sure you have a good line of sight if you are going to be going over 50 feet though. We bought it and used it form something it was not designed for, and it works GREAT! - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

  5. This product works wonders in my house! I have a comcast box 0 people found this helpful
    Overall Performance

This product works wonders in my house! I have a comcast box in my bedroom on the 2nd floor where I have installed the transmitter with the remote control extension and then installed the receiver in my living room TV (about 50 ft away on a different floor). It works great with no interference or noise whatsoever, you can walk or stand in front or close to the TVs and even shut down the bedroom door that it still works fine (the antenna signal may be reaching out of the glass windows on both floors, not sure). You just have to make sure the antennas on both transmitter and receiver are adjusted correctly. I had an extra remote control from comcast so I don't need to keep moving the remote up or downstairs, just make sure the remote control extension end (eye) is placed in front of your cable box on the 'transmitter side'. The only thing is that you have to watch the same channel on both TVs if they're on at the same time...which is rarely my case. Now I can watch all my cable lineup channels on both TVs. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -
