Good speakers 0 people found this helpfulThese speakers were good had them in my back surrounds so they didn't have much to do. Ended up selling them because I prefer the forward sound speakers.

A great rear speaker for a budget 5.1 or 7.1 system 0 people found this helpfulI picked up an Onkyo 7.1 receiver from an estate sale and MacGyvered a 7.1 system from a mix of speakers I owned and I needed these to complete the setup. These sound a lot better than they look. I have a great JBL sub and two awesome Bose 501-iv speakers for the front. I have a JBL center channel and two M&K side speakers. I needed these to provide the fill for the rear and I am thrilled with their response and sound. I calibrated the Onkyo with a mic and the system sound is immersive. The one thing I didn't expect was how good music sounds with this system. I feel like I am sitting in a concert hall. Fluance is marketed as a budget speaker with premium sound. These rear speakers meet that standard. One last tip I picked up from an earlier review and used. Take a piece of paper, place it on the hanging bracket and use a pencil to locate the two hanging holes by shading the paper to reveal the outline. My template was perfect for precisely marking were to put the two hanging screws. I also used a command strip on the bottom of the speaker to secure them to the wall and (potentially) avoid any rattling for the speaker against the wall.

Great as REAR SURROUNDS 0 people found this helpfulFluance SXBP surrounds. I wont bother you with how you should hang these it's pretty noticeable with the key slots in the rear of the speaker.Build quality is very nice,I wouldn't expect a sloppy product or they just wouldn't sell as many as I see people have bought on here. Sound is the important thing here anyway isn't it? ok...They sound as good as what ever your putting into these, lousy amp lousy sound, good amp good sound..Setting your rear crossover to 100/120 hz and at 75/85db will get the job done, but let your own ears dictate where you want these.Remember, these are in the rear and you want NOT to know where the sound is coming from, these should fill your room with sound not knowing where its coming from, heck you already have side surrounds so you know the bullets and wind and rain, and car turns and door slams are coming from ,ahhhhh but the ambient sounds....now that's coming from the rears,a sort of FILL IN if you will.Pay attention to how loud these are,you don't want these to over power the rest of your set up,make these like a phantom set of speakers ( where are they? ) People try these as fronts and sides sure they work, but its really not what these are designed for.( my opinion ). anyway install these, save a few bucks,a great company to purchase from, they're always pushing the envelope! Finally, these are well worth the hard earned cash you worked so hard for,in the end you'll be a happy listener.
