The Songo HiFi has perfectly solved my problem of trying to play music from my computer/phone/tablet on my main stereo receiver. The product comes with the power supply and cabling to hook up via RCA (black/red) cables. I opted for an optical hookup which I would highly recommend. Setup was a breeze both with physically connecting to my stereo and pairing with my bluetooth devices. The box itself is small and is virtually invisible in my cabinet. Sound quality is awesome. Fortunately the Nyrius is unrelated to old school bluetooth receivers. Pros Small, sleek design Dead, simple usage. Just enable NFC on your smartphone, tap your smartphone and the Songo together for 1 second and voilà they are synced The sound quality is shockingly good. It is substantially louder and clearer than having my laptop or smartphone connected direct to my audio system via aux cable Cons Range is pretty restrictive. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone. Select the Nyruis receiver, The light on the receiver will light and you are good to go. Now all the music you play on your phone goes to your stereo. I operated my phone about 20 feet away and there was no problem. Sound quality was good. I would imagine that a direct cable from you phone to a stereo would provide a bit better sound, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little for mobile convenience. Pros: Easy setup Small - easy to travel with Good sound quality Inexpensive Cons: None Note: I did purchase the Nyrius that had just regular audio connector. I contemplated buying the unit with a digital optical instead. Not sure if that would have been worth the extra money since Bluetooth audio has some limitations.
