As others have pointed out, the line of sight and distance b 0 people found this helpfulAs others have pointed out, the line of sight and distance between your phone and the device makes a big difference. The music can cut out if you go beyond about 20 feet. However, for me 20 feet is ok, so it's not an issue, and it performs well other than that. I really like my Denon receiver even though it's not up to date with HDMI and Bluetooth. Optical cable take care of quality sound and this device solves the Bluetooth issue for me. The footprint is roughly 2 square inches. Very small. I use 0 people found this helpfulThe footprint is roughly 2 square inches. Very small. I use it in my car as a bluetooth receiver (music only). It won't function as a bluetooth adapter, i.e. for incoming/outgoing calls. However, the audio quality is great, seemingly indistinguishable from the line in jack (a requirement for this device actually). It uses a standard micro-USB connector (the same as most Android phones) and my cigarette lighter power adapter provides adequate amperage. This might be great for a small system but I just hooked it 0 people found this helpfulThis might be great for a small system but I just hooked it to my high powered receiver (Yamaha cr-2040) that is hooked to two large Fisher speakers and sound is...well, NOT HIFI. It is beyond bass-y, even when I reconfigure my equalizer on my device (iphone) and receiver it still sounds like music in box. Usually music coming from this system sounds a lot more crisp. Then I also hooked it to my small electric Bose speakers and it worked great. So I think I'm going to use it just for my smaller speakers in my room instead of my larger system, which suck because the whole point of getting it was so that I could use the phone in the kitchen and listen to loud music in the living room. All that said, the reception seems to be find on the other side of the wall (there is a wall between the kitchen and living room spaces in my house) so far. - Verified purchase from Nyrius trusted store. -

I was looking for a way to reduce the number of wires I ho 0 people found this helpfulI was looking for a way to reduce the number of wires I hook to my phone to play music and podcasts in the car. I often use a charging cable, but also had to hook up an audio cable. Now I can leave the phone in my pocket if I don't need a charge. It connects automatically a couple seconds after the car starts. I got a usb-to-barrel connector to power it off a usb cigarette lighter adapter, and it stays hidden in my console out of sight. The volume is pretty good, and the fidelity is as good as these old ears can tell in my car. I like this thing. Would buy again at sale price for sure.
