Not bad 0 people found this helpfulI like this TT a lot. It's very similar to a Teac TN series turntable which I have owned exclusively for years. I have read that they are manufactured in the same facility and with the Teacs having raised the prices significantly on their new models and the older models that are still around being price gouged I decided to take a chance on Fluance and so far, I'm very happy with this one. It has many of the same or similar parts and operates in much the same way. The appearance and controls are a bit different but are easy to use so the adjustment is minimal. I was facing at least $400 to get a new Teac but this unit was half that so I'm very happy about that. It's simple and works. Turntables are not meant to be automatic and the ones that are add noise to the playback and is just more things that can go wrong. The more simple, the better in the case of turntables. If you're lazy stick to streaming because if you want an automatic turntable, you obviously don't care too much about the quality of your music so streaming is perfect for you. If you value what a turntable is all about then this one is a great option, especially for a newbie but also for those of us who've been into vinyl for decades. The price is right, it's easily upgraded and it sounds decent out of the box. It took me all of 5 minutes to have it set up and working, however I have experience with this type of table. It might take a newbie 10 minutes. If it takes you any longer than that, you should probably put it back in the box and get your money back because turntables may be too advanced for you.

Fluance RT80 turntable 0 people found this helpfulThis turntable has great sound. I've hooked it up to my Philips receiver and I love the result. My vinyl sounds great. The setup was fairly simple but I would recommend using a stylus scale to set your counterweight properly. I think this paired up with a good sound system won't disappoint.

RT80 4 people found this helpfulThis turntable is awesome, is it a expensive high end table, no but it's a very well built and beautiful turntable. That plays amazingly well for 150.00 to 199.00 us dollars. Fluance is spot on with their audio equipment, the only negative is the cover, it scratches very easily must handle very cautiously
