Very disappointing. Poor quality. 0 people found this helpfulVery disappointed. I went for the higher end product that is supposed to reach 100 ft just to be on the safe side. My TV is about 40 feet from my computer. The first day I plugged it in, after about 10 minutes of fiddling I got it connected, only to have the signal drop over and over. After looking into it, I found that the actual monitor on my machine was dropping (i.e.: the device plugged into my computer was resetting or something). It would go from showing I had 2 monitors, to only 1 (my actual monitor), then back to 2, then back to 1. You get the idea.When it works, the quality seems alright, though I did notice noise. Now, I can't even get the monitor to forward. It will show up as active on my machine, the connection on the receiver shows that it's connected, but it won't display anything. I'm fairly technically savvy and can tell you it's not a configuration problem. The receiver is connected, the device is connected, but it simply won't send anything. Very disappointing especially given the cost of this device. - Verified Store

OK, as long as you only want to send only video, does not transmit audio. 0 people found this helpfulThis product cannot be used to send the HDMI output (picture and sound) to the HDMI input of an AV receiver. This was confirmed by Nyrius support as an 'unsupported' configuration, i.e. it won't work.if connected to an AV receiver. In actuality, the product was sending the picture to the AV receiver, just not the digital audio stream. Later note: Ordered another unit to try in a different configuration, i.e., sending AV from PC to directly to an HDTV. Same problem, unit sends video, does not send audio. This is supposed to be a supported configuration. The problem is definitely with this product. If the PC HDMI output is`directly connected by HDMI cable to the TV both video and audio are received. If the wireless HDMI unit is used with the same PC output and the same HDTV input there is picture but no sound. No amount of fiddling with the PC sound card settings made any difference (the PC sound card does recognize a difference between a direct wired HDMI connection and when the Nyrius unit is connected to the PC HDMI output). Also, this was not an issue with correctly setting up dual monitors or the like, there was one and only one HDMI output in use. In this instance there was no technical support available from the manufacturer to try to troubleshoot. Tried to reach chat support during business hours on a weekday but none was available. Purely designed, does not work, useless customer service 0 people found this helpfulDid not work even once.A long emails thread with Nyrius customer support did not help, they sent me over and over again same instructions, that did not change the basic fact that it does not work. the transmitter is connected successfully to computer, and the receiver is connected successfully to the projector, but they do not connect to each other even from a 1 feet distance.Even their instructions would work fine, you need two people doing a long set of funny actions (one example: click and hold the power button till it starts blinking under your pushing finger. It does not work and never did, but I had to push the button on its half to be able to see it blinking. This is the level of human engineering of the product).I had another WHDI transmitter for years that just worked. This is the most expensive item in this category, and I bought it assuming it with be good replacement.What a disappointment. - Verified Store
