DONT BUY IT 0 people found this helpfulI was suckered into buying this turntable like everybody else was. O yes it worked for the first 4 months. But hey guess what the tone arm was coming down faster then I could get the cover down on the turntable which caused the record to skip. I went on line to try and fix this problem, and by way this is by the hundreds that had the same problem. If you are serious vinyl players like I am DO NOT BUY THIS TURNTABLE you will regret over time. P.S. by the way this my second fluance turntable I bought

Most frustrating record player ever 0 people found this helpfulMost frustrating record player ever, our cheep one from target is much easier to use and sounds much better without needing a pre-amp, another growing wire, balancing arm & antiskip that doesn’t work when set to their presets. Total frustrating waste of time experience.

This turntable has one thing going for it- the aesthetic. And that's how I got suckered. Even the fancy needle can't redeem the shoddy quality of the device. There's no automatic loading arm and putting the needle on the record manually with the shoddy plastics that make up the smaller parts proves precarious and could easily damage the fancy needle. The external pre-amp setup was enticing for an audio nerd like me who craves pristine sound without electrical interference. Like the well-reviewed OM10 needle cartridge, it's more sucker-bait. Fluance doesn't even provide all the required RCA cables and they don't warn you ahead of time. So imagine my experience gifting this to father and setting it up together only to find Fluance doesn't give you all the parts to make it work. I bought matching Fluance speakers and their preamp thinking it would reduce compatibility issues. Speakers didn't even work. And now I have to pay a small fortune to return ALL of it. Save yourself the anger, disappointment, time and money. Don't buy this record player. Looks cool/piece of crap

Unusable Unplayable 1 people found this helpfulGot a totally unplayable unit. End up returning it. I wasted a ton of time in the assembly, troubleshooting in the internet, and with their support not able to resolve. Ugh. So frustrating.

RT82 Looks nice but doesn't work 0 people found this helpfulWe may have to return the system as the tonearm does not adjust properly. I have tried contacting customer service but all they tell me via email is the same information that's in the manual. The tonearm doesn't lower so at this point the record player doesn't work.
